Can I attach a zip file in Confluence?

Of course, you can attach any type of file to Confluence.  If it's not a recognized filetype, it will simply not show any preview (i.e. it won't show you what's inside the zip file), but there is no problem with uploading/downloading. You just have to make sure to stay within the file size limits of Confluence set by the Confluence Administrator.
