Is this documentation on authenticating users against multiple AD forests and/or domains?

Hi Evan,

Welcome to the Atlassian Community.

Authentication in Confluence is based on the order of your user directories. If you have multiple ones, a user will be authenticated against the first one where Confluence finds the user. You may want to take a look at Crowd, with it you can map any combination of user directories to an application.
