I am trying to make articles and I am going by your sets and it'snot working. can someone help?

Do you mean articles here in the Community or articles in a Confluence system?

What are you seeing when "it is not working"?

On my home page I don't have the plus sign to create but do have create in blue on top. when I click that to go the how-to-article it makes a link on the page left bar. Can you remote into my system to see if I'm missing something?

We need to know what you are looking at really - Community, Confluence or something else?

If you give us the url you are using, we can work it out from that.  We don't need to know the domain if you have one, it's the <something>.atlassian.net, https://community.atlassian.com or if there's something totally different.
