Would it be possible to use PocketQuery to query the Confluence database itself?

Absolutely!  That is actually our primary use of PocketQuery.  We use MySQL as our database.  You can get the connection URL from your Confluence Administration System Information section under Database Connection URL.  PocketQuery is very good at auto-detecting the proper JDBC driver, but if I recall, the documentation lists them for the various databases supported.  We then set up a general read-only account in MySQL and us that account as the UserID & PW for the connection.

Good luck with that! All I can say is Google Google Google! Someone will have found at least a piece of the information you are looking for and then you can start putting your puzzle pieces together!

Haha, good luck! There's some documentation by Atlassian on the web. But mostly you'll have to look at your database itself ;)

Hi Auke! If you like PocketQuery, would you mind leaving a review at the marketplace? That would be a great contribution!

I certainly like it, and I will do my best to write a review, but due to time constraints, that will only be in 2016
