I am working with a team to move a repository of artifacts into Confluence, and we are experiencing so many issues with these imports. Attachments are replaced by images of the file icon, tables are altered or missing, images are lost, objects created with word art are gone.
What can we do to address these issues? We have a large repository of content that needs to migrate, and we are really counting on this import functionality. If our docs cannot come in clean, it introduces significant and untenable risk to our work. Any ideas would be welcome. Perhaps there is a better file format for importing? Or a better tools for importing, perhaps?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Marji,
Please look at the table and content in the link below

Hello, Victor, and thank you for your reply! I really appreciate it.
I looked at this page you suggested, and it seems to be focused on exports. I am actually trying to do import into Confluence. Do you know of a similar reference for importing?
Thanks!

Marji,
Another solution would be to copy the pages that have the attachments and other files to a new space where you can archive content.
Then your images, attachments and files will reside under Content Tools -- Attachments.
