Widget Connector for twitter not working

Hi all

When we insert a twitter link into the widget connector, it shows this error:

Error rendering Tweet https://twitter.com/Atlassian/status/1418306581834440708. Please try again in 1 minute(s).

Youtube is working fine.

Any ideas?

Is it the same bug - https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFSERVER-29639 ? There was a fix promoted on this as per 7.5.0 Release Notes - https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/confluence-7-5-release-notes-1001823832.html.

Could you please check with this workaround ?

Thanks a lot! 

With the HTML Macros it works fine. But We do not want to enable these macros. So we wait until the next LTS Release from Confluence.

Yes @Dominic Lagger , in that case you have to wait for the release.

We upgraded to 7.13, but the twitter feed is still not working...

With the HTML it is still working, but we do not want to enable HTML macro.

What can we do?
