Why is data displaying as numbers in my page properties report?

I have a template generated Brief. It woks great and the two briefs made in April appear as intended. The two tests I made today have numbers in the table fields, instead of text or status labels. The numbers don't seem to be a numerical reflection of the data. Im going bonkers!
why the 4 in "Deal Stage" and the 9 in "Status Notes"?
