Why is confluence auto-duplicating pages but removing all access from the duplicate?

I am our JIRA admin, but have noticed that some pages I create automatically have a duplicate page created with different permissions. In these cases the duplicate pages are inaccessible to me or in some cases, clicking on the duplicate page simply re-directs to the original page.

Hi Matt, I don't have a lot of details about how the pages are being created automatically, but it sounds like you might be running into an issue similar with this. CONFCLOUD-74216 

causing pages to be duplicated.  

If that's your issue, feel free to vote for and watch it for updates.
