Why don't I get email alerts when people mention me in article comments?

I don't get email notifications when people mention me in Atlassian articles. Email preferences in my profile only includes marketing email opt in and opt out. What am I missing?

Can you share a link to an article where you were mentioned and did not receive a notification?
