Why does a page in the list show the chevron for a child page, when it has none?

I have a page, itself a child of a higher page, which shows the > against its entry as if it has a child (it doesn't and clicking the chevron does nothing other than make it point down \/)

Any ideas how to remove this (it's driving my OCD mad)

It wasn't that, in the end I archived it and restored it and that did the trick. I think it was because I had created a child page, by mistake and when I deleted it the option to expand the menu list remained.

Resolved with "archive" & "restore"

This usually happens when the page does have children, but they are not visible to you because they have been restricted away from your view.

First thing to do is ask the space admins to look at the list of restricted pages to see if that is the case.
