Why do I need to manually link JIRA Tickets (via JIRA/Filter view)?

It would be so much easier if the common Ticket Notation would be autodetected and Links made to the relevant Jira Ticket without me needing to manually insert Jira/Filter > select Ticket > Insert Interactions.

Is there a way to automate this detection in confluence?

Hello there Helge! Thanks for sharing with the community.

You should be able to add an issue or filter by pasting the whole link leading to it. For example, let us say that my Jira instance is myjira.atlassian.net:

  1. Create a page in Confluence
  2. add the link to the desired issue, for example myjira.atlassian.net/browse/ISS-57
  3. Wait for about 1 or 2 seconds
  4. The pasted link is now shown as an Issue from Jira

You can check more information about this here:
