Why did the table in my page get reformatted and why can't I change it?

I have a page in a space with a table and a couple attached files.  The table is essentially a task list I am using to PM a project, which I periodically edit to update task status.  (I am primarily using Google Chrome to access it.)

This was working fine for a few weeks, and then one day the entire page's text became italicized, and when I try to edit the page, it shows up in a compressed window (see screenshot) that I cannot expand or easily view because it is so small.  

I tried reverting to a previous version - no luck.  Any tips?

Hi,

You can try another browser or try to disable browser extensions.

Also, this issue can be caused by apps installed in your Confluence - ask your Confluence administrator to check them.
