Why confluence is taking more time to start

Hi

I am using confluence 7.14.0 version and atlassian sdk 8.2.7 in window 10. Whenever I ran command atlas-run, it is taking more time to start.

Why its happening ? what is the best way to start the confluence.

There's no way to know what this might be.  You'll need to analyse what Confluence is doing on that machine and identify what parts of it are "slow" for you.

However, I would start with monitoring the disk access and checking the anti-virus - it's well known that the way Windows "supports" anti-virus software is poor and can massively slow down (and even crash) some types of application.  Check that the Jira installation and home directories are completely excluded from virus checking.  (You can enable it for some bits, but lets not worry about that just yet)
