Why all tasks are marked as Done when creating tasks on new Confluence page?

Whenever I create a new page in Confluence and create tasks on that page, Confluence marks all tasks as Done during saving the page.

This is quite annoying, because all task owners receive email notification that they have a new task, but the task is already done. Then I have to go, uncheck all tasks, one by one, and then all task owners receive another notification, that their tasks have changed status. This is not only unnecessary spamming of other users, but it is sometimes confusing for them.

Anyone observing the same behavior? Is there some workspace or global Confluence setting I have to change to stop this behavior?

This is a very unusual behaviour in Confluence, let me dig little bit more in my instance to see what could be behind your problem.
