Who gets notified when someone comments on a page?

For page comments, does the page owner automatically receive a notification about the comment? Or does the page owner have to monitor the page?

Thank you.

Hello Christine, by default, Confluence will assign you as a watcher of any page or blog post that you create or edit. This behavior is called 'autowatch'.

So, as a watcher you will receive email notifications for:

  • Comments, including new comments, edits of existing comments or deletions of existing comments.
