Dear Community,
I would really like to create a layout on my pages that mimics the layout of the Templates page on Confluence with all the blocks containing the Use button, so you can hover over those blocks and preview the Template page on the right. I cannot find any macro that would look like that within the built-it range, nor does using the layouts to achieve something similar do the trick.
I would be really grateful for your assistance!
You can try to achieve something similar with the cards macro. You won't get buttons, but you can add links to the cards to make them clickable.
You can use Confluence's built-in beta cards or a third-party solution like Content Formatting Macros for Confluence.
The first solution will work for you if you have a premium Confluence plan and can use cards for free. And if you don't mind customizing each card manually and don't want to upload your own images or icons.
With Content Formatting Macros for Confluence cards, you can customize cards in groups, and use your own brand colours, and images.
In addition, this app provides a list of other must-have formatting features that are not available in Confluence: tabs, numbered headings, buttons, banners, tooltips, background and more.
With which you also can try to play to achieve what you ask here too. For example by combining background and buttons.
@Olha Kotselko I'm fairly certain this page was not built using only native Confluence features, but with one of the 3rd-party apps.
People from the various app companies monitor these questions, so I'm sure they will chime in to let you know whether you can achieve this functionality with their app.

Actually, not quite. That page is indeed not a Confluence page within a space.
All Confluence pages live within their spaces, and have URLs that always look like
https://aclsandbox.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/HNM/pages/2279....
The template page is part of Confluence itself (not a 3rd party app) and it's not in a space.

Thanks for the clarification, @Nic Brough -Adaptavist-. I'm glad to learn something new.
