Where is the confluence server settings that points to connection to backend Database server

Our current confluence server version is 6.4.2 and we are trying to migrate the backend SQL server database from an existing SQL 2008 R2 to a new SQL 2019 Server.

Where the settings stored in Confluence server that configures the connection to the backend SQL server?

Look to <confluence home directory>/confluence.cfg.xml  - all the database connection settings are in there.

I could not find it on my windows server.

Does anyone know where the file is on a windows server?

The operating system is irrelevant.  The config file has the same name on all of them, and it really is confluence.cfg.xml in the Confluence home directory you set up when you installed it.

Please, look in the confluence home (data) directory you configured.
