Where are Confluence Space exports stored on disk?

Hello there! We are on Confluence 5.10 and would like to export our spaces to XML to import into a different, Confluence 6.x instance. We've already tested this successfully with small spaces, where we can download the export from the web UI from the "Space Tools > Content Tools > Export".

However for some of the larger spaces, we'd like to grab these files ourselves from the disk. Where are these stored? I looked through the Confluence Admin guide and couldn't find this mentioned and can't find it myself poking around. Thanks!
