When is External collaboration going to be available?

I've seen the other posts and on confluence pricing it says coming soon.  The roadmap states Q3 2022.  Is there a more definite date now?  We are setting up spaces for our customers in anticipation of external collaboration.  I've created a test account but it does not appear to be very customer oriented/friendly.  For instance, there is still the space settings link (although the user can't do anything) and there is a personal space that is created.  All this is not what we want for our customers to see.  Additionally, does anyone know if there is any testing available for external collaboration?
