Since the entities.xml file does not exist in the zip file that is backed up every day since the confluence point of view, the zip file capacity suddenly decreased.
How do I back up entities.xml file to a backup zip file?

Is it because the backup capacity is over 1GB?

Hello,

I understand you'd like to know why the entities.xml file is missing from your daily xml backup.

There can be a few different reasons for this, but most often we see this caused by low disk space. I recommend making sure there's enough disk space on your server, and increase it if you need more. (See also: XML backup restore failed with 'The zip file did not contain an entry 'exportDescriptor.properties'' in Confluence).

Also, the daily XML backup is not recommended for production instances, especially as the backup grows over 1 GB. This is because the XML backup is resource intensive, and becomes much less reliable as the instance continues to grow. Instead, its recommended to use the Production Backup Strategy, which is more reliable and provides an easier, more complete way to back up and restore data.

I hope this helps!
