Did you mean:

When creating a page, I can save it even if no changes are made.

If there are no changes, improvements will be needed to prevent them from being saved.

The reason for this is that when saved, mail is sent to the user for that page, which means that the user receives unwanted mail.

Please check my question.

Thankyou.

Hello there.

I would like to understand the improvement idea you have on your end a little bit better. Can you confirm if you are referring to page create or page edit specifically?

  • If you refer to page creation, can you specifically explain what do you mean by no changes? The reason why I am asking is because you need to have at least a Title before you can publish a new page, so that is considered a change already.
  • If you refer to page edit, there is a Notify Watchers checkbox that you can untick to avoid sending mail notification to users.

Perhaps you can also share a sample email that the watchers receive when this scenario occurred? Looking forward to hear from you.
