When adding Confluence Guests, do they get an email notification when I add them?

We have users already added with an Atlassian account so they already received an email to join as a customer or using another product. But there are many we add later as a Confluence Guest. Do you know if they receive an email when I add them as a guest? Also, do guests get notifications on updates to the space they are made the guest on?

Hi @Ben Van Walbeek 

Yes, guests will get an invitation mail that can be customized during the invite process.

I would assume that guests also get notifications, however I'm usually Admin of Sites so not tested it personally yet ;)
