When a Team is classified as an Official Team, does the adding of personnel get restricted?

When a team is made official, does management of who can add and delete personnel from the team get restricted?

Yes, it would be managed by admins vs anyone can managed the team membership.

On top of what Ben said, and if we're talking about official teams, org admins could sync those with local or IdP-provisioned user groups. You can read more about that here:

• Sync team members with a local Atlassian group 
• Sync team members with SCIM user provisioning 

We have a lot of cases where teams actually come as groups from IdPs such as Entra or Okta, so with this feature, it's quite easy to push those changes to Teams, while everything is managed directly in the identity provider 🙂
