We have a user requesting to upload a file that is 650MB. We are concerned that this would not be the only file, and there could be several large files - and we'd be setting the precedent. However, before we say no, is there any things we should be aware of/concerned about with attaching large files. We currently have our limit set to 100MB and are having no issues.
Atlassian has cloud storage limit for its products, currently it is 250 GB. Please refer this document :

Allowing users to upload large attachment will fill up your space very quickly.
However there are some plugins available in the marketplace for Dropbox, Box and Google Drive. It is advisable that you can buy space in these respective apps and install respective plugin in your confluence.
