What is the root cause of the "Edit in office issue" https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFSERVER-57

Hi All,

I am facing the exact same issue as follows "https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFSERVER-57721"

As per the "Note" , atlassian not supporting "Edit-In-Office" feature anymore. But I would like to know the root-cause of this issue.

I registered this question ,because the Reporter of the above ticket is inactive so bringing this discussion here.

Even though the reporter is inactive, I recommend to post your question in the CONFSERVER-57721 ticket. It's still in the 'gathering impact' status so I assume someone from the Atlassian Team is reviewing the comments. Good luck!
