Hello,
what exactly is the difference in using an achnor instead of a normal link?
Because i am writing a dictionary about the makros our company is using and i need to explain to our employees what the difference between the two is. I think it is easier to use a normal link then to create an achnor and i don't see any reason to use the difficult one, if the two are so similar...
Thanks for your help!
Hi @Maybritt Streit,
you set an anchor to a special position on the target page. Think about a very long page with quite a few topics. Maybe you will point your users to a special paragraph. Then you can set an anchor at the beginning of that paragraph and link to that anchor. If your users then click on the link to the anchor, the page opens and jumps directly to the anchor.
A regular link always opens a page from the beginning, first line on top.
Hey @Thomas Schlegel,
thank you for the help! Now for me it is clear what the difference exactly is, i hope my colleagues will unterstand it,too. :)
