What is it with all these attachments draw.io generates?

What is it with all these attachments draw.io generates?

We use draw.io in Confluence Data Center.

If several people edit the same diagram, it can happen that draw.io creates a new attachment: drawio-backup-title-rev-number. If it is a large and regularly edited diagram, many such backups quickly accumulate - over 2300 on one page after a year!

Is it safe to delete these backups or is there a way to delete them automatically?

Hi,

Please update to draw.io 13.1.11 or 14.1.5 for fixes in this area.

it's draw.io app 14.1.0.

The mysterious backups are appearing again.
Any news on the topic? Is it safe to just delete the backup files?
