What is causing the issue when trying to pull together a pack on confluence?

My colleague and I are pulling together a pack on confluence which is used in weekly meetings. We do this every week and other than the odd connectivity issue, everything works great.

Last week we were uploading large amounts of information from powerpoint packs which were being saved as png files.

When I was uploading my documents, it would remove what he had already uploaded and duplicate what I was uploading in it's place.

If he was then to go back into the page and re-upload his documents, it would delete half of my updates and it then went in a cycle everytime we tried to rectify the issue.

Has anyone experienced this before? I'm wondering if there is a capacity limit on the page or whether it is another issue?
