Often when I edit a Confluence (wiki) page, I want to supply detailed information in the 'what did you change' text box when I notify the watchers. However, this text box only scrolls left and right and it is difficult to navigate/edit the entire text. It would be helpful to have this text box expandable so the user can edit the text in a paragraph style.
Hi Howard,
I've submitted this as a feature request in our system:
Please vote on this and comment on it with your exact usage case.
Let me know if you have any questions about this!

Shannon
Thanks, Shannon. Now how do I get our in-house folks to take notice of this wish-list feature?

This would certainly not be an easy task, but they could modify the source code directly in Confluence to their needs. This is something that I would not be able to assist you with.
Note that this isn't supported or recommended, but you can forward them the information from our Confluence Developer pages.
Regards,
Shannon
