Hi all,
i tried to establish a windows web folder connection to my confluence server.
By entering the URL directly into the browser (IE,FF) it is working fine.
But if i try to set up the windows web folder connection i got the following error:
Does anybody know a solution for this error?
Thanks,
Kevin
Hi Kevin,
Do any of these apply:
To map a Confluence WebDAV client network drive, your Confluence instance must be configured so that all of the following criteria is met:
This is information from the following page: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Configuring+a+WebDAV+client+for+Confluence
Especially the port 80 one is something to easily overlook.
Best regards,
Peter
Hi Peter,
Thanks for your reply.
I already know the confluence description you sent me.
But i don't want to map a Confluence WebDAV client network drive.
I want to map a confluence WebDAV client web folder:
To map a Confluence WebDAV client web folder in Windows XP:
http://<confluenceserver url>/confluence/plugins/servlet/confluence/default
or http://<confluenceserver url>/plugins/servlet/confluence/default
) and then click 'Next'.
So i don't have to meet the criteria for the network drive mapping.
Best Regards,
Kevin

Hmm, okay my mistake.
Just wondering, could you remove the trailing / from your url. (the example in the text you've quoted doesn't have one).
Best regards,
Peter
