I have created a Project Management space up, where I have a Master Table on the main page with the most basic details about all projects, and then child pages for each project.

My aim is to make setting up a new project as easy as possible for my team by minimising the amount of work that they have to do.

What I want to do is set it up so that the Master Table will automatically fill from it's child pages details, so that team members don't have to enter data twice. I understand I can do this using Excerpts, and have set these up on the child pages.

My issue is that I cannot automate the creation of Insert Excerpt elements on the Master Table. When a team member creates a new row, it is simply an empty row. What I would like is for the cells to have empty Insert Excerpt elements created in the cells so they simply have to go in and choose the Excerpt from the project page after they have created it.

Is there a way to edit a tables behaviour so that newly created cells pre-fill with a selected element?
