Want to rename the URL i mean subdomain

We want to rename our URL subdomain. Which is better?

Does Directly changing the subdomain will impact the internal link pages of confulence and jira? Do we need to change manually all the internal link for bugs and confluence pages?

or i ready in atlassian articles that atlasian keeps the old url in their configuration and keep them redirected to New changed URL internally so that all should work fine.

Or

Migrating the project from One account to another account is best and easy way?
