Version status disappears when I delete one of the version

Pre-condition: The document has versions that include status

When I delete the previous version

Then the status of the version on the top disappears

Please check if anyway that I can prevent this as I want my version to have status

I am able to reproduce the behaviour. This does look like a bug. You may want to reach out to Atlassian support to confirm this.
