we have been asked by the business to activate 2FA, and as part of this setup we needed to setup under authentication policies being asked to claim accounts.
so far DNS is verified with 694 accounts
when asked to claim all accounts whats this actually asking us to do, i dont want to go ahead with anything that might brake.
is anyone able to assist ?
Hi @Rakesh ,
On top of what Hana said, I'd definitelly recommend communicating this with your staff beforehand. Just letting them know that their accounts will become managed and that 2FA will soon be required will probably prevent any confusion. 👀
All in all, I'd say it's definitelly recommended to claim domain/organizational accounts so you can define policies and also help troubleshoot any issues users might have.
Cheers,
Tobi
Hi @Rakesh ,
Claiming accounts turns user-owned accounts on your company’s email domain into managed accounts, giving organization administrators control over user security policies, profile details, account deactivation etc.
