Variables in Included Pages

Is there a way to include variables in included text so that in page A the variable has one value and in page B it has another?

How? How can a variable in text which is included in two different pages be populated with two different values?

@Laura Novich If you look at the information panel in the last screenshot @Laurie Sciutti included, you will see that the value you choose for the variable when creating the page becomes part of the page content.

I believe this means that it is no longer a variable—it's just text on the page. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Hello @Laura Novich and welcome to the Community!  Yes ~ this is possible!

• Create a new space template
• In edit mode, add the "New variable" macro
• give it a name and edit it to select the type (Text, Multi-line text, or List

• Then, when you use the template, the variables will allow dynamic information for the new page.

@Laura Novich ~ @Barbara Szczesniak is correct.  Once you create the page using that template, the option you choose becomes part of the page content.
