Hello Sibi,

Happy to help you with this.

Could you tell us a bit more about your situation?

  1. What is your Confluence version?
  2. Are the documents already uploaded into Confluence, or do you need to automate this as well?
  3. Are all the documents in a single page or space?
  4. Do you need to be able to create pages?

Thank you!

Regards,

Shannon

Hi Shannon,

Thanks for getting back. I probably will refine my question. I am changing the topic to HTML from WORD.

I have a folder with 400 HTML files and around 8 JPG files. These are part of a specification and I can navigate between this using say Internet explorer. Now I want to add these to Confluence and have the same navigation easiness.

Is it possible to add them in one go?

My confluence version is

Confluence 6.6.7

Hello Sibi,

Thank you for clarifying that. Unfortunately it's not possible to do something like this out-of-the-box, but you might be able to find a Marketplace Add-on that provides this functionality.

You can find our current import options below:

Another option would require you to convert the HTML files to Confluence XML, and import them using the REST API.

Lastly, we have two feature requests open for this (one for Server, one for Cloud):

I encourage you to vote on the one that is related to your version, and watch in order to be updated of changes.

One more thing, but your Confluence version of 6.6.7 is currently open to exploit. We had a security advisories in March and April. At this time you will need to upgrade as soon as you can to avoid being exploited.

For more information, please read below:

Let me know if you have any questions about that.

Regards,

Shannon
