Using the PDF Macro, it displays as a red X when viewing the page in IE. Any fix?

When viewing the PDF macro in IE 11, it displays as a gray screen with an X in the center and the pdf is not viewable. Is anyone aware of a setting in IE or on the Wiki in general that would display the PDFs properly?
