Using new Atlassian Performance Testing Framework on Server versions of Confluence

Reading https://confluence.atlassian.com/enterprise/performance-testing-framework-for-confluence-935577039.html and Brendan's question using new Atlassian Performance Testing Framework on older versions of Confluence - so (have to ask)... what's incompatible about using the DC Grinder scripts on Server edition? Assume I'm on the latest version.
