Has anyone seen where they are using the expand macro and are able to remove the bullets on their information entered but then after a bit they find that they can no longer remove the bullets by using the button on the ribbon bar of options or using the short-cut of CTRL + SHIFT + 8 as it will just not remove the bullet as even if you press the ENTER key a few times it just keeps putting a new bullet line and not just going back up to eventually remove the bullet so you have just a blank line of entry so you can use the expand macro option.
I have to save update my page and wait several hours if not the next day but at times I can only enter expand a few times before it starts doing that and other times it goes a while before giving me issues.
Anyone seen anything like this before or any suggestions how to stop it from doing that?
@Sabrina Compton Just to clarify your question, are you:
I have just tried this, but I do not experience the issue as I have described above. I'm not sure how much time goes by before you have this issue, but some questions to consider are:
Often the advice is that this may be a cache or browser issue. Refer to this page for information on how to narrow down the cause: https://support.atlassian.com/atlassian-knowledge-base/kb/browser-troubleshooting-guide/
If your issue persists or you manage to fix the problem, let us know so that we can offer additional advice or so others can be helped by your experience.
Greetings @Barbara Szczesniak
Sorry let me share some better details so I have my blank page but have bullets listed in main part of the page. Then through out the page I have expands that I want to insert to add images. But I find that sometimes when I go to enter the expand back within the bullet listing in the main part of the page and select the option to remove the bulleting or use the shortcut keys it will not remove the bulleting and I have to save my page and go back later and try or the next day go back and try.
Let me know if that better helps explain.

Thanks for the clarification, @Sabrina Compton. This one has a completely different answer. What you are trying to do is referred to as "nesting macros."
You cannot currently nest an Expand macro within a list. This request is documented in this ticket: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-67862, which you can comment on, vote for, and watch.
For information on new (15 months ago) nesting capabilities, see this article: https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Confluence-articles/Content-nesting-enhancements-in-Confluence-Cloud/ba-p/2629303
