One of our users is experiencing problems trying to sign up through the registration link. I have deleted them as a user, then re-added them and sent a fresh registration invitation link and even after asking them to delete all cookies, when they clicked on the link, the same error message appeared.
Please can anyone advise what the issue might be? Thanks!
@sophia_macrae_tod It seems user needs to be added to confluence-users group. Go to Settings -> User Management -> Users -> Locate that user and click on ellipsis (...) -> Add user to group confluence-users
@Suvarna Gaikwad thanks for the reply, annoyingly i since realised that and have added them to confluence-users and have checked with them but they still can't access their page.
This is the newest error message.

@sophia_macrae_tod when you click on that user in User Management, can you please check if Confluence is checked green and in Roles dropdown, atleast Basic role is selected. See below image. Once this is done, please ask her to try in Incognito mode of browser.

@Suvarna Gaikwad thanks for this, yes that's already the set-up but i'll ask them to try through an incognito window, although that's not really a long-term solution if every time they want to log into confluence, they have to go through an incognito window where none of their passwords etc. will be saved?

@sophia_macrae_tod no, it won't be required each time. It's just once if their browser has cache issues after confluence-users group was added or they can try to use different browser
