User access to invite users

Does anyone know of a way to restrict some users from inviting other users? We have an internal process for requesting credentials and want to restrict inviting users for all but the Admin people. Thanks in advance for any direction.

Site Admins and Trusted Users can invite other users.

If you don't want someone to be able to invite other users, then you should change their user permission to Basic from Trusted.

From the user's entry in Administration:
