Use case: Representation and evaluation of structural relationships in a wiki area

Good day,

we are currently building a wiki, which can be approached from three sides. For example, two of these pages are the categories active ingredient and product. These should now be linked in such a way that their connections are always (both sides) consistent and can be evaluated. An example:

Starting position:
The active ingredient A has its own wiki page with substance-specific descriptions. On the wiki page of active substance A it is also stated that the active substance is used in products X and W.

Product X also has its own wiki page with product-specific information. Among other things, the active ingredients H and A are mentioned here as ingredients.

An overview page provides information about which active ingredients are contained in which products and which products contain which active ingredients.

Wish:
If a new connection between products and active ingredients is now entered, the change on a wiki page (active ingredient or product or overview) should automatically be reflected in the corresponding entry on the other pages.

Idea:
Use of labels / tags / items / variables for the active ingredients and products instead of standard name strings on the respective wiki pages.

Question:
Which macro is suitable for this? Are there nameable, countable and linkable items? Is area label management suitable?

I would suggest using labels as you mentioned above.  I would then add the labels list macro or the related labels macros to display the information.
