Hello Atlassian Community,
I am the administrator of the Atlassian Cloud site:
https://rajentrivedisoftware.atlassian.net
Our Confluence Cloud has been deactivated due to inactivity.
When I open Confluence, I receive the following message:
"Confluence has been deactivated. Your Confluence Cloud subscription has been deactivated due to inactivity, and the data will be permanently deleted soon."
Additional details:
- I am the site administrator.
- Jira Free is still active.
- Confluence no longer appears under Billing.
- When I try to add Confluence again, I receive "Unable to add app."
We have important documentation stored in Confluence and want to prevent permanent deletion.
Could an Atlassian team member please advise:
1. Is the data still recoverable?
2. How can I stop the scheduled deletion?
3. Can Confluence be restored to the existing site?
Thank you.
@Rajen Trivedi Please refer to this article from @Trudy P Claspill for information on the timing and what you can do to save your data: https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Jira-articles/Atlassian-Jira-JSM-Confluence-Free-Tier-Inactivity-amp-Data/ba-p/3251237
Hi @Rajen Trivedi Please contact Atlassian Support with request to re-activate your site. This can only be done after Billing Details are added. Make sure that you login/work regularly on your App/Site (I believe its once every 7 days) in order to prevent de-activation due to inactivity.
Please note that even after de-activation, there's a grace period before permanent removed. If you ignore these alerts, you site will be deleted permanently and unrecoverable!
