-Uploading files in file lists seems to have ceased to work!

Sumbal Rizwan (107481) September 10, 2018

Uploading files in confluence file-lists seem to have ceased to work randomly and I can't quite pinpoint what the issue is.  I am trying to upload a file with ensured upload size, filename is proper and the baseURL is correct and in each situation they are all good to go.

I can see the file uploading in chrome, and once it hits 100% the page appears to refresh but no new files are posted. It seems that the uploaded file is disappeared. Kindly assist!

Sumbal,

I believe you might be referring to the following bug:

Have a look at that, and let me know if it's the behavior you're experiencing.

If it is not, I would recommend raising the request to them. Once resolved, you can feel free to let us know what the issue was.

Shannon

Yes! Its exactly the same behavior being experienced. Any idea about the ETA, i mean when would this bug be fixed?

Thank you for confirming, Sumbal!

At this time there's not yet an ETA, but the bug will be updated once there is more information on that. I can see currently it's been escalated in highest priority, so I expect to see updates soon. I'm reaching out currently to the development team in order to see if we can get any additional information.

In the meantime, one workaround that works for a few users is to use the drag and drop option. This might work for you, so please feel free to try it.

Regards,

Shannon

Hi Sumbal,

Looks like the case was actually just updated now with the following:

Thank you all for the patience. The problem has been identified and a fix is in our release pipeline and should make it out in the coming days. We'll update the ticket once the release has made it to production.

Great news!

Shannon
