Upgrading confluence on an evaluation license

Hi,

  We are running an older version of Confluence Server. Our support license expired  recently, but I would like to upgrade to the latest version of confluence using an evaluation license so we get all the latest patches and then buy the new support license. Is that possible? Are there any limitations to doing so?

No, the data will know that you are unlicenced.

Why not just get the new licence now?  Then you'll be supported during your upgrade, as well as not having to mess around with licences.
