We have recently updated to 8.5.8. We always re-index as part of an upgrade, however on the re-index page we had the following error
'We can't check the status of your index'
further investigation shows that we am getting NullPointerExceptions errors against /rest/rebuildindex/latest/job. the log file is quite long, however the error points to :at com.atlassian.confluence.plugins.rebuildindex.status.ReIndexNodeStatusJson.<init>(ReIndexNodeStatusJson.java:33).
Has something been missed? forcing a index rebuild from the install works. However the GUI cannot access the index information for us to be able to run it from there.
