So my pages used to have this beautiful Child Macros that shows up properly. I noticed that when I changed the Confluence space key, the child macros doesn't show up anymore.
Is there any way to get these back. Now, all of my Child Macros aren't working at all and I tried re-linking them but nothing works.
Nikka,
Welcome to Community! Happy to help.
It's not possible within Confluence to change a space key, so can you let me know what method you used to change the space key? It might be that the child macros relied on the space's key and now that it's been changed, the relationship has been broken. There may be a way to modify it in the database, but we'll need to know how you changed the key exactly.

Shannon
Oops sorry I mis-called it.
It seems like the Key is still the same called "OIPPH". I did rename the Space Name to "Dreams-PH". But when I attempt to create a child macro, typing Space Name yields blank. While Key is "not found"

Nikka,
Thank you for clarifying that!
When you are referring to Child Macro, could you just confirm that you are referring to the Children Display Macro?
Could you first try to rebuild the Confluence content indices (reindex) and see if that helps the issue?
If not, could you please send some screenshots of the behavior you're experiencing when you try to re-insert the macro?

Shannon

And yes the Child Macro I'm referring to is Children Display Macro.
When I attempt to type the new Space Name in the Parent Page, it doesn't even show the list properly. And using the former space name yields a "Not found" error message.
I also went and tried to re-index but my General Configuration but then got a "Temporarily, currently only sysadmin can change indexing language and reindex all documents. Contact Atlassian Support if you need help."

Hi Nikka,
Do you happen to be on Confluence Cloud? That would prevent you from reindexing Confluence.
If so, you can reach out to the Cloud Support Team in order to reindex. If reindexing doesn't resolve the issue, then they can have a look at your instance itself and the database in order to determine why this might be happening.
I would ask that when the issue is resolved for you through the support team, you come back here and let us know how they resolved the issue for you, in order to help other users.

Shannon
