Hi,
I'm having issues uploading pictures into a whiteboard for a specific confluence space.
I'm not having the issue for other spaces, and am an admin user for my organisation. I didn't create the space where I'm trying to upload images but need to contribute with images for our product.
Is there an easy workaround for this error?
Hi @Laurence Walker ,
Welcome to the Community !!
Though you are admin of the instance, can you check if you have permission to access and update/upload/edit the space pages? Specially, attachment permissions.
Thanks for the quick reply.
I'm able to update/ upload/ edit pages on within the space, but am having trouble finding where I can see what permissions i have to the space?
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
You may check at
<SITE URL>wiki/spaces/<SPACE KEY>/settings/permissions/users
&
<SITE URL>wiki/spaces/<SPACE KEY>/settings/permissions/group
For the attachment permission.

Yes, that would be an permission related to Attachment 'Add'.

Cheers, it looks like its a permissions issue.
I'll need to get the space creator to apply permissions to me.
It does seem strange that I cannot get access to update this as an admin, but seems like the feature is locked behind a higher subscription tier.
Thanks again

Welcome @Laurence Walker .
Feel free to mark this as 'Accepted answer' to help other members having same issue.
Eventually, the error code is something misleading - Will give this as feedback.
To update permission, you need to connect with Space admin though you are an Instance admin - that's due to Confluence product tier, we call it as 'Admin key' for higher product tier; wherein you can recover admin permission and access restricted content.
