Unable to login to Confluence with the error message "Username / password login is disabled by your

We can't login to Confluence and we get the following message:

This indicates that the username and password login method has been disabled, possibly due to the implementation of a different authentication method such as SAML or AD SSO. Here are some steps that you can try:

Recovery Mode: If you have access to the Confluence server, you can enable recovery mode to restore access. This involves creating a temporary admin account using a system property, then resetting the password for the affected user. refer

User Directory Setup: Check the user directory setup for your Confluence instance, especially if you are using Active Directory and Jira as user directories. Ensure that the affected user is set up correctly within the user directory and that there are no issues with the directory configuration.  refer

Bypass SAML: If SAML is causing the issue, you may need to enable the default login page to bypass SAML in Confluence Data Center. This involves using a query parameter to access the default login page directly, bypassing SAML authentication. refer

It seems like your account is deactivated from confluence in order to make it active again you'll need to contact your Jira administrator.
