Unable to find user in managed accounts that exists in confluence cloud

Hello,

I have a user in my orgs confluence cloud named "John Doe". Under his profile in confluence user management he has his e-mail address listed as john_doe@mydomain.com. I can also see this same information from the response on mydomain.atlassian.net/rest/api/2/user?username=jonh_doe

Under my managed accounts for mydomain.com I cannot find this john_doe user at all. Given his email address has the same domain as the one I have claimed, I would expect to see him in managed accounts
